⚡ Breaking - Artificial Intelligence (AI) Market in FinTech to Surpass $66 Billion by 2030, 30% CAGR, Solutions 66% Share

📰 BREAKING

$66 billion by 2030. That's where AI spending in fintech is headed, growing at 30% annually, with two-thirds of that going to solutions rather than services.

Here's the problem: we're treating this like a budget allocation exercise when it's really an exposure map.

The 66% solutions tilt tells you where the real friction lives. Regulated fintech hasn't struggled with ideas about AI—it's struggled with buying, deploying, and operating packaged capability that actually works inside compliance perimeters, legacy core systems, and fragmented customer identity graphs. That solutions share is CXOs voting with capex: they want something they can plug in, not another 18-month services engagement to build what should already exist.

But compound that 30% CAGR against the operational reality in emerging markets—where customer acquisition cost is climbing, digital transaction margins are compressing, and regulators are tightening data residency and explainability mandates—and you surface the harder question: who captures value from this spend?

The vendors packaging the solutions will book the revenue. The banks and fintechs writing the cheques will own the liability if the models drift, hallucinate, or discriminate. And the gap between those two—model governance, adversarial testing, continuous retraining infrastructure—is where the $66B projection either compounds or craters.

If your AI business case today still stops at 'efficiency' or 'personalization', you're solving for 2019. The $66B question is who owns the correction loop when your model breaks in production.

What part of your AI stack can you actually operate when the vendor contract ends?
